My pipes are frozen but haven't burst. What do I do?
Shut off the main water valve, open the affected faucet, and call us. Don't use a torch or heat gun. If you can safely warm the area with a space heater or hair dryer while you wait, that helps.
How do I winterize a seasonal home on the Cape?
Shut off and drain the water system, blow out lines, add antifreeze to traps, and set the heat to a safe minimum if it stays on. We do full winterizations for seasonal homes on Cape Cod and the South Coast.
