It started with one truck in Westborough

Kenneth Wood Sr. founded this company in Westborough in 1988 with a truck, a license, and a simple idea: do the job right, charge a fair price, and answer the phone. He never advertised. For over thirty-five years the business grew on referrals alone — one neighbor telling another.

Ken Jr. grew up in it

His son, Ken Wood Jr., grew up in Westborough and started working alongside his father as a teenager. Not in an office — on the trucks, in the basements, on the no-heat calls in January. He learned the trade the way it's supposed to be learned: from someone who cared whether it was done right.

Today Ken Jr. runs the company. He's based on the South Coast in Mattapoisett, where he lives with his wife Catherine and their three children. His father still works out of Westborough.

Why two locations matters to you

Most plumbers claim a service area far bigger than they can actually reach. We're genuinely at both ends of ours. Ken Sr. covers Central Massachusetts and MetroWest out of Westborough. Ken Jr. covers the South Coast and Cape Cod out of Mattapoisett. When you call from Shrewsbury or from Falmouth, you're not waiting on someone driving across the state — you're calling a plumber who's already nearby.

Between them they've installed hundreds of heating systems, repaired thousands of plumbing problems, and answered more after-hours emergencies than either would care to count.
